WECU Elections at the Annual Meeting

Did you know - Whatcom Educational Credit Union is not a bank. We are a member-owned,
not-for-profit financial cooperative. Instead of customers, we have members. And instead of a small group of investors, we have a volunteer board of directors who are elected from, and who represent, the members of the credit union.

The board of directors for WECU consists of nine volunteers, three of whom are elected each year at our annual meeting, held in January. Also elected at each annual meeting is one of the three Supervisory Committee members. These dedicated men and women provide strategic direction over the business and affairs of WECU.

At our 2011 annual meeting, there are four positions up for election.

The deadline to file for candidacy is October 8, 2010
