BELLINGHAM, WA (July 14th, 2026)
For 90 years, WECU has been more than a financial institution, we’ve been a member-owned cooperative committed to helping our members and communities thrive. This milestone belongs to every member who has trusted us over the years, and we’d love to celebrate with you.
Join us at your local branch for a 90th Anniversary Party, featuring sweet treats from local bakeries, prize giveaways, community fun, and the opportunity to help us give back by nominating a local nonprofit to receive a portion of $5,000 in charitable donations.
These celebrations are our way of saying thank you for 90 incredible years of membership, support, and partnership. Because of you, WECU has grown from serving a small group of educators in 1936 to serving more than 170,000 members across Whatcom and Skagit counties, all while staying true to our mission of putting people before profits and investing in the communities we call home.
