WECU was founded by Bellingham teachers in 1936. This, coupled with our commitment to being present in the local communities we serve, has inspired the WECU Game of the Week Series.
Every week of the 2021 high school football regular season, one “Game of the Week” will be featured. Tune into KPUG to listen to the games or head out to the ballfield to catch the action.
Among other promotions, WECU will host a student section competition where one school’s students will win the coveted Student Section Spirit Trophy and $500 towards their school’s ASB general fund.

- 9/10 – Ferndale at Lynden
- 9/24 – Lakewood at Squalicum (Civic Stadium)
- 10/1 – Squalicum at Sehome (Civic Stadium)
- 10/8 – Mt. Baker at Nooksack Valley
- 10/15 – Lynden at Sehome (Civic Stadium)
- 10/22 – Mt. Baker at Lynden Christian
- 10/29 – Burlington at Squalicum (Civic Stadium)
