The Federal Government recently approved a $2 trillion stimulus package to combat the economic effects of COVID-19. And there are a couple things we wanted to highlight related to your stimulus check (if eligible) and WECU account.
- The Federal Government will begin sending out the money to eligible tax payers, in waves beginning April 13.
- The bank account assigned by the Federal Government for your deposit is based on your tax filing preferences over the last two years.
- Members without direct deposit will begin receiving paper checks beginning May 1.
