Dr. Tyran has extensive experience in board service, having served in various roles on WECU’s Board of Directors.
Her work in research, teaching, and consulting focuses on leadership and team development. Prior to earning her Ph.D., she served as Vice President of Public Finance and Commercial Lending at Bank of America and Key Bank of Alaska.
She was recognized as Western Washington University’s College of Business and Economics Distinguished Teaching Fellow for 2012–2013.
In addition to her professional work, she has more than 30 years of experience volunteering on a variety of community boards.
