Kurt has served in a variety of roles on WECU’s Board of Directors, including prior service on the Supervisory Committee.
Kurt retired after a 35-year career at Western Washington University (WWU), where he spent much of his time as Associate Director of Housing. In that role, he was responsible for financial and technology matters for the university’s housing and dining system, overseeing financial planning, budgeting, capital financing, audits, contracts, the campus ID program, and technology.
Earlier in his career, he held other student housing positions at Western Washington University, the University of Washington, and the University of California, Davis.
