WECU will close two of its 11 retail branches located at 1945 Lake Whatcom Boulevard and 1 Bellis Parkway (next to Target inside the Bellis Fair Mall) in Bellingham.
Why is WECU closing the branches?
Due to changing member behavior, the popularity of our digital banking options, and a significant decrease in branch use, our Sudden Valley and Bellis Fair branches will close on May 10, 2021.
What other banking options are available to members who live in these communities?
The Sudden Valley and Bellis Fair communities are important to WECU. We have several members and employees who live there. We are confident that our five Bellingham branches and Online and Mobile Banking will be able to meet the banking needs of our members.
