Food security is the cornerstone of a healthy, thriving community, but that foundation is under threat. Rising costs and reduced federal support, including cuts to SNAP benefits, have placed significant strain on local food banks. They’re serving more people than ever, with fewer resources to do it.
At WECU, we believe in stepping up when our community needs us most. This season, we’re rallying together to ensure every family has access to the food they need.
Every dollar you give feeds twice as many families in Whatcom and Skagit counties. WECU will match donations dollar-for-dollar up to $20,000 through November 26.
Donations will go to the Bellingham Food Bank and Helping Hands Food Bank.
