BELLINGHAM (September 16, 2020) — WECU announced today it has donated $15,000 to Wildfire Relief through the Northwest Credit Union Foundation (NWCUF). NWCUF will connect donated dollars to credit union employees and volunteer board members impacted. In addition, dollars will be given to credit unions needing support to remain in operation.

“Fires and intense winds have caused communities to be driven from their homes, and left our neighbors without food, water and shelter,” said Reid Frederick, Director of Community Impact at WECU. “Some of our northwest neighbors have lost loved ones and we want to help.”

WECU encourages members of the community to donate to relief efforts if they are able.
