BELLINGHAM (March 12, 2024) — WECU is partnering with Mount Vernon Downtown Association as the Presenting Sponsor for the inaugural Tulip Tunes Music Festival at the Tulip Festival Street Fair. This three-day collaboration aims to bring an enhanced music festival experience to Skagit County.
“We’re thrilled to partner with WECU to enhance the entertainment at the Street Fair and introduce Tulip Tunes as a standalone music festival to our community,” said Ellen Gamson, Executive Director of the Mount Vernon Downtown Association. “Music has always been part of the Street Fair, but we’re really focused on elevating the entertainment level with this music festival and creating something that showcases local, regional, and national talent for our local community and visitors to enjoy.”
Tulip Tunes music festival promises to be an unforgettable experience for residents and visitors alike. The free festival will take place inside the Tulip Festival Street Fair from April 19-21, featuring 18 talented musicians spanning various genres, promising an enjoyable experience for all. The lineup features artists such as local favorites The Enthusiasts, Hippies with Money, and Brittany Collins, as well as national and regional artists like Leon Majcen, Alec Shaw, and Drew Martin.
“We believe the Tulip Tunes Music Festival has the potential to become a signature event in Skagit County, attracting music enthusiasts from near and far,” said Keith Mader, WECU’s Director of Public Relations. “Through this partnership, we aim to create a fun, lively experience that will resonate throughout Pine Square, filling it with music and community.”
